I would recommend you watch '' Kipling's Indian Adventure '', repeat or on catch-up.

I watched it last night, and Its about Kipling as a young man, involving sex, drugs, adultery of the rich, prostitution,and journalism, basically, and you see an Opium cabaret, as such where everybody's stoned out of their brains.

He was a bit like the ''Beatles', wrote some of his best stuff when he was in cuckoo land :-)
