Don't you remember this Ratter ?

Talking of pickles, my local Co-op ia having to make room for some new lines, so they are having a big clear out of existing stock, at really daft prices.

I bought 2 big jars of Piccalilli, and 3 jars of Branston, all at 50p or below !

I also bought 4 big bottles of Napoli Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for 99P each, instead of £4:00 !

I am guessing that as long as the olive oil is kept somewhere out of direct sunlight, it should keep for ages ?
No Mikey, I cant say I do.
Olive Oil will keep for two years if the bottles are unopened.

I believe that all the major Supermarkets sell, Baxters 'Albert’s Victorian Chutney'.......similar ingredients to Pan Yan.

Hans.
Pan Yan pickle - that's a blast from the past.
Pan Yan pickle was my favourite but unfortunately the company was taken over by the owners of Branston Pickle and stopped production in 2002. The recipe was lost in a fire at the factory in 2004.

I can remember looking this information up some years ago when I fancied some pickle but found that I couldn't get Pan Yan any more.
