Foreign Tv?

Michael Portillo is now in America, Rick Stein is doing programmes from abroad etc. etc. Do foreign tv shows come here and do similar programmes? I was thinking it would be interesting to see the results, as they say to see ourselves as others see us.

The portrayal of Brits, especially in the US, is still delighfully eccentric. I was recently watching West Wing as I missed it first time round and Roger Rees and the guy who played the property custodian were wonderful.
