Hi, is bt broadband any good, I keep seeing loads of offers, I am with plusnet on a no contract basis I am paying £14.49 a month at the moment my phone line is with bt, my computer is upstairs, i have a DIY phone line from downstairs but the tv we want to have internet access to is down stairs how do I connect it up. thanks.

In my experience,definitely NO. I went with Sky Broadband and have never regretted it. Only my opinion,by the way.
I have BT broadband and I hate it but haven't the energy to move.
Avoid if you can.

We use BT, just done a speed test am getting 43.18 D/load
and 18.4 U/load, we're happy with it
Very happy with BT.
I have been with BT for my internet for 19 years. I know have Infinity and have regular download speeds of 38 mps, which is ample for my needs.

Don't forget, that if you access your ISP from your telephone line, BT is involved at the heart of things.

I am not very sure about your second question...there are plenty of techies on here that will help. But you can access your router from anywhere in the house, by wifi, which is what I do with my computers. I am not sure if you can do the same with your TV....perhaps you will need a cable for that.
