This excelled itself tonight with stupidity. Kiitcar type ambulances, dummies spurting blood, sick and pee. It's only on because OH likes it but even he says it's rubbish. How do they get away with it?

Car-crash TV at its finest! I've never driven but love the programme :-)
Sounds like 'Horrible Histories' on CBBC but less funny.
Tonight's was particularly infantile.
It was great.... funny show tonight
Lie-in-King - car crash TV- great choice of words considering the program ha ;)

I loved the programme when it first started, but the last couple. Of years it has really gone silly. Every time I watch it, it gets worse.
Have to agree with your opinion of tonight's show Caran! I know they have gotten away with some very childish stuff before, but, tonight was DIRE!! Husband and I were just amazed it was broadcast. Only saving bit was lovely F1 driver!
I found it funny - but then I love slapstick humour ...
So, your OH likes it...but says it's rubbish. Takes all sorts, I suppose.
I can't think that this show appeals to anyone but middle aged middle class hooray henrys, its utter chortle splutter lashings of ginger beer nonsense. It used to be quite good .
> middle aged middle class hooray henrys

Since you clearly have no sense of what other people of any class may find humorous, I'll simply point out that "middle class" and "hooray henry" are mutually exclusive ...
We're each allowed our opinions of the show and I'm neither middle class nor a hooray henry but I love the show, anyway I'll always go for the agade.... " if you don't like it DON'T watch it"

Still anything Jezza related gives the Daily Mail Fundamentalists something to rant about I suppose

Jordyboy I don't watch it but OH does and finds the childish bits boring so he fast forwards. Trouble is this series is getting more fast forwarding than watching.

Me and the OH are not into cars but both of us really enjoy Top Gear.
They sell abroad don't they, thus reinforcing the image of UK men as fumbling fools.
Sell abroad.....It's kinda worldwide.
Please tell me the difference between 'abroad' and 'world-wide'
It is proper ripe for a make over, new direction.

I give it 2 more series in its current guise.
