I only brought it up because they are now forced to include ethnic races, and yet they seem so out of sync of the locations and way of life in the stories. Ridiculous.

Like it or not the areas where Midsomers are allegedly set hardly have any black poeple in their population. I'm in a similar south west enclave and I never see any black people as a rule. Sorry but do think this is tokenism and is more of an insult to the black community rather than enlightenment in my opinion.

Once again in this weeks Midsomer murders a solitary black actor appeared, although she added nothing to the story line except she happened to be married to the village's florist who happened to be white.
