Why do they take the minus offer? It is so embarassing, I couldn't live with myself. I always hope they lose and tonight he did. He's out!

Yes the guy tonight was good on the cashbuilder round but took the minus glad he was out, I would rather go out on the big offer, if they get back on a minus the amount should be deducted from their winnings, I know this won't happen as it's all part of the game!

That's my view exactly, why should they benefit from the others success.

Bear with me on this...
BUT how would it pan out if the first contestant got 0 points. The chaser would HAVE to offer a minus offer. (with nothing banked)
Then supposing that all the other contestants got knocked out (all scoring 0 points)....how would that work?

I Think too much......
Question Author
I agree!
I wanted him to lose as well.

nailit a similar thing happened the other day, as there was no money in the 'bank' or the accumulator round the chaser couldn't offer a lower amount.
There was an episode last week when the woman took minus £11,000! How could she hold her head up?!
Totally agree, and sometimes they do get some stick from the Chaser, Bradley and the contestants, I couldn't do it!!
i'm always glad when they lose ,especially if it's a minus amount .
I find the level of general knowledge extremely low ...........and if it were me it would be 'what I earn I keep' at the final round !
I'm disappointed when they take the lower offer but there is sometimes an argument for it. If the first 3 get through and the last one accepts say, minus £2000, but s/he is good on one particular subject s/he may make the difference of winning the final or not. Between four of them it's a loss of £500 each.
They have to work as a team to increase their chance of at least winning something.
quite a while back someone took a low offer and the other team members were cheering mark to win .
lol yes mally...but if you go on the show you know what can happen and you have to accept that you may know everything but others may not. ;o)
I'd be too nervous to talk to Bradley, never mind answer questions at speed.
When one woman took a minus offer, Bradley said to her that if the team beat the Chaser by one point, she would be recognised as the hero.
i agree ,family members said me and oh should enter things but i get very nervous and wouldn't remember my name lol .
That happenned the other day nailit, they do not have a lower offer if there is nothing in the bin and the contestant gets £0.

I always want them to lose if:
a) anyone of them takes the lower offer and
b) none of them take the higher offer.

....and those in seat 4 who take a negative amount when those earlier have built up a good pot?....Death's too good for them!☺
I didn't watch it, I rarely catch the programme, but I have to say there seems a friendly and benedictory lot of folk in here.
I seen one where the last person took the minus offer and he answered more than anyone in the final chase and they won.
Love devious people. I watched a Perfection where an older man took 11K out of a young lad's 12K, then said all his answers were right all along. Had that been me, I would have changed one of the correct answers so we won nothing, I'd only be out 1K he would have been out 11K.
ummmm,

## I seen one where the last person took the minus offer and he answered more than anyone in the final chase and they won. ##

ummmm, was that the one that the first contestant kept giving him really rude remarks, until he forgave him for getting a lot answered in the final, but said he was still a Prat.
