I thought the strange guy Mark, was employed as an entertainment manager, yet he seems to have taken over as the General manager.

I didnt mean that in a nasty way BOO as I like him and he makes me laugh with some of the ideas he comes up with.

Last week it was a Scottish theme for Burns night, but no Scottish residents.

Then last night his idea about putting large beach murals by the pool to give the residents a touch of paradise.

He makes me laugh. Loved it when he said he knows nothing about being a prime minister but if he were offered the job he'd have a go. I believe him!

Yes and he would probably do no worse than the present incumbent. At least we'd all have a laugh as the country went to the dogs. :-)

He is employed a as entertainments manager and yes he does act as if he owns it! He is no longer at the Cavendish, he was done for driving in a bus lane on Christmas Day in Plymouth and the article in the Herald Express said "formerly if the Cavendish". It could be that he only works for them in the summer season.

He used to own it, but subsequently took a job there as entertainments manager - hence this new series. I think he went bankrupt.

He used to own The Grosvenor, Kestor and another hotel, but not the Cavendish. He was supposed to go back to The Grosvenor as entertainments manager but he didn't. They were having lots of work done and did not open for the full season. The bloke who owns The Grand in Torquay owns it now.

I can't watch it, he tries so hard and seems to meet so much opposition, poor soul !
