There was a TV programme on last night which I missed. Anything new about Nessie or is she still as elusive as ever?

Saw the programme Sandy. Nothing new at all. Just more and more theories and more and more "experts" saying definitely yes and definitely no. Take your pick. I am Scottish and would LOVE to believe it's true but after all the fancy pants equipment used these days, they STILL can't find anything other than seals.

It was very interesting. The famous photo, I think in 1924, was a fake and I didn't know that before. Worth watching.

I'd like to believe, too. The problem is that during the last Ice Age the loch would have been frozen solid. So if Nessie is there she must have managed to set up home after the thaw.

I knew about the fake photo but it keeps getting trotted out every time there's a Nessie programme on the telly. As I say, there was nothing new at all. One day maybe...?

It's certainly very deep and very dark and with numerous underwater caves so, maybe she's hiding whenever the sonar boats come along. ! As I say, I'd LOVE it to be true, but, ah hae ma doots!

That which does not exist do tend to be elusive.

For there to be such a beast there would need to be "herds" of them, and if they came inland they'd be in multiple lochs/lakes with conclusive evidence.

They have babies, Baz.....I have a photo of three in the nursery area of Loch Ness......I'd post it but it's an old photo and in the attic....

My daughter included it in a holiday project for school and she won a prize so it must be true....x
