Can anybody tell me what car Dr. Helen Trent drove in Heartbeat? I thought that it was an old Citroen but my wife says it is a Saab.

Yep definitely a Citroen, I can see why your wife thought it could be a Saab though it has similar lines to a 1960's Saab estate car.
