In all the series of Three or Four In A Bed whenever the single or two people leave in their car at the end , the number plates are always blurred . Why is this done.

To prevent identification by idiots ?
Probably the tv company covering themselves. Number plates could be copied and put onto similar cars maybe?
It is well known that people scour the internet looking for car numbers plates on cars for sale.

Then when they find a car the same as theirs they get plates made put them on THEIR car and drive THEIR car round with someone elses plates on.

So if they get done for speeding or parking fines or the London congestion charge the fine goes to the other person.

It can take weeks or months to find the "fake" car, and before they do the fake car has run up thousands of pounds of fines.
Why can't there be a system of: No "Log Book" No replacement Plates.? Seems an easy solution.
Everhelpful, that is the law already

Look on eBay, though, and you'll see sellers of reg plates that don't ask for these details.
hc,I forgot about Ebay.!!
And shysters don't need to watch tv to get a reg. Walk round any large car park and you'll likely hit a match.

In all probability the car in the programme is leased and not owned by the couple.
It happens in lots of programmes - it's to protect people's personal details.
