This BBC documentary on the Marine who executed an Afghan insurgent is disgraceful.

Yes, he killed someone, and has been found guilty. However, there is an appeal coming to court on Monday. Surely this is a potential contravention of the principal of justice, when such a sensitive case is being judged.

Any appeal won't be heard by a jury. The judges involved will have directed themselves not to watch the programme.

Here's hoping that there's no holding back on access to each and every legal device available to him as it is to others mounting appeals on patently open and shut cases.

I hope he is successful.

After watching the programme last night I think he did the right thing, there was no way the bloke was going to live, so he put him out of his misery, and don't forget, he was the enemy and probably would have done worse things, if it was the other way around!

You know i think US should have to draw its forces as early as possible...We should not had to start this war at the first place. You know a huge money which can be spend on the betterment of Americans, burned in Afghanistan.
