Unless Im totally missing something or have got it all wrong, doesn't Kat now live in Dereks old house? And if so then why is she charging Derek's daughter Alice rent? It isnt her house.

Because they all moved out for various reasons so they rented it out, I think.

It's Mo's which she rented out when she moved into the Vic. Both the Moon boys and Fat Boy lived there until Derek paid Mo more rent so's he could chuck them out wanting it just for himself and his 2 kids.
