what channel Smow?
Question Author
BBC1. A teenage girl goes missing at a Mayday parade/festival.Is in 5 parts.
I like programmes which are a change from the usual, will try to have a look-see.
Question Author
Seems to revolve around several families, and they all look guilty of something lol. Def worth a look. Even Mr Smow was glued to it .
I was going to watch that but there's one that starts on ITV tonight which looks similar(ish) and I didn't want to get myself confused between the two.
Question Author
Is that Broadchurch?
Yeah, looks like it might be a bit heartwrenching.
I found it hard to follow. Nearly everyone seemed to have something to hide.
Does anywhere in the uk still celebrate Mayday. I can remember dancing round a Maypole at primary school but that was over 40 years ago.
I thought it was bit slow , but it was setting the scene so I expect it to pick up a tad tonight , guess we will watch it eaither way as there is a real load of old rubbish on at the moment.
didn't understand the plot so I might just watch it on thursday , unless it clashes with the good wife.
I think its meant to be around Beaconsfield /Hazelmere area ..any other suggestions?
Question Author
Yes it was definitely trying to make it look as though all the men had a secret, but thats just to confuse.
I watched it and found it a bit confusing! I am going to keep watching though in the hope that all will become clear!
The write up in our paper was so bad I didn't bother with it.

// A young girl goes missing in a small community... possibly trying to escape from this forgettable BBC drama series // etc!
is it the one with david tennant?
fell asleep, too much introspection and holey plot..
I really enjoyed it.

bedknobs - David Tennant is in Broadchurch tonight.
Question Author
Wonder whats in that bag that bloke locked in the kitchen cupboard? Too obvious to be the missing girl surely
I thought it had promise. Obviously by the end of the first episode I suspect everyone (In a very old Taggart episode I even suspected wheel-chair bound Mrs Taggart!) I look forward to the rest to the series. I'm going to record Broadchurch (with the lovely David Tenant) so as not to get confused with Mayday. Nice to have a choice of decent stuff on the TV.
and then there is Lightfields, I am getting very confused about them all.
