Tv Awards Yet Again

Very pleased that Colin Morgan won Best Drama Performance. Nice to see all the knights there too - even Mordred and especially Arthur!

i didn't watch much, but did see colin getting an award, was quite surprised, he is very good looking, and from NI. Assumed he was an English actor.

So did I when Merlin first started and was pleasantly surprised when he was interviewed. Such a nice boy!

i didn't really care for Merlin that much, as i found it a bit strange, with it's depiction of Arthurian legends i couldn't quite get the drift, and i really didn't like the actress playing Guinevere

Not too surprising - sadly Arthur did die, according to legend.

i know, i just wasn't expecting them to go that route, victorious in battle and then retires with Gwen...

In the legend, Guinvere falls for Lancelot and the knights have to take sides. That leads to the battle where Arthur is killed by Mordred. Sir Bedevere is the knight who throws the sword into the lake(after trying to hang on to it twice!). Merlin, at the time, was locked in an oak tree by a younger woman, who asked him how he could lock someone in a tree!!!

em10, your ending would suit me fine. The Lancelot/Guinevere was cleverly dealt with in an earlier series. (Lancelot was extremely fanciable!) Such an entertaining series, I've said it once and I'll say it again - when the BBC tries hard, no one can beat them.
