Anyone watch this? How could he hypnotise him by just touching his head, also when he woke up in that room, why did he not need the loo having slept all night? Is the whole thing a fake?
I watched it as well. I am always amazed by Derren Brown programmes. I am sure they are not a fix or there would be no point in them. I am going to watch it again at 12.05 on 4seven and see if I can pick any holes in it. Some of the previous series have been equally mind boggling.
He was able to hypnotize him like that because he had already been screened, along with many others, to assess his susceptibility. If you've ever seen Derren Brown before you can see him do it to other people. I've seen him live, totally amazing. It's definitely not fake.
And as for not needing a pee.... not everyone needs to go as soon as they get up.
I have yet to see him live. Daughter, a picky scientist, has seen him a few times and is fascinated by the way his mind works. A great showman, very clever and a wonderful artist.
he prbably already 'talked' to him in his sleep at home, he srt of pre-prepares them.
Also, he wouldn't have just touched his head on the bus then took him off. He wouldhave spoken to him for ages but didn't show that.
he probably did have a wee, but again, we wouldn't see that.
I really like the Derren Brown shows, I think that he is extremely clever with his tricks and illusions, but the whole set-up for Apocalypse must have taken months of planning and a lot of money to set up - do you think that Steve is real, or an actor? I think that it would really do my head in if I was in the same position.
