I've just been watching this (for the 1st time) and one of the questions was "the first 10 South American countries in alphabetical order".
Can someone plzz explain why "French Guiana" wasn't in the list ??
Has it changed its name recently ??

Because i think officially it is just called Guiana. Anyway bring back the Chase.

Guyana is a different country to French Guiana. The list included Guyana but not French Guiana.
I'm wondering if the programme producers have dropped a clanger, or if I'm missing something ....

French Guiana is not a country. It's an "overseas region of France" (whatever that is when it's at home).

I think the 'overseas department' means it has the same sort of status as the Isle of Man has with the UK

Guyana is the former British Guiana; French Guiana is Guyane, but as said is technically part of France.

Last night me and my girlfriend watched three DVDs back to back. Luckily I was the one facing the telly (poor grammar doesn't necessarily spoil it).
I took part in the sun tanning Olympics - I just got Bronze.
