Midsomer Murders

Does anyone know if the new Midsomer Murders are just the old scripts re-done,please ?

The MM showing now on ITV1 is labelled "repeat" in Radio Times.
The ones with Neil Dudgeon were new scripts but they started some time ago and are now being repeated.
I think Neil Dudgeon was introduced as the original Inspector Barnaby's cousin and has taken over so it's still a Barnaby in charge. He did appear in an old episode though as another character too.
