can't beleive they lock all those people up in a hotel for weeks at a time, it's so constrived it's ridiculous, they get told when their own game is and so it's not a surprise to anyone!

Dotty. they don't lock the contestants up for weeks. They record two or three shows a day, so they're not incarcerated for very long.

I went to see Deal or No Deal a couple of years ago in January, but it wasn't shown on TV until about May or June. I presume this allows Noel Edmunds to have a few months off during the summer!
