this story has blown all out of all proportion
laurel is being ultra harsh but on thing not mentioned when she said she wants a divorce and banning Ashley from the house is that a few weeks ago we were told the church no longer paid the rent for the cottage,so she will have to get out too,
we've gone off laurel .lol

It's gone too far the wrong way IMO
Laurel should be seeking ways to ensure Gabby gets over her fright of her father
They should be getting therapy as a family
This could have easily been worked through
And why isn't Laurel claiming housing benefit and CTC and WTC? It's all so unrealistic

and laurel "the slapper" did drive Ashley to this breakdown when he found out the "slapper" was having an affair with the emerdale "freak"
