Who is the woman with the manly voice presenting the sport on BBC Breakfast today?

Tanya Arnold. She's does the sports bit on Look North. A very apt description!

I am always surprised when I hear that voice and look up to see woman on the screen.

There's another lady who is a foreign affairs correspondent. I don't know her name but she has a very deep voice too. Like you Evian, I have to look up to see who it is.

Tanya is very knowledgeable on sport-though her voice is rather deep she's far more aware of her subject than the Sky Sports air heads.
