how would you write to a fav celebrity?

If you could write to a celebrity you are a really big fan of, really love him/her and love everything about them especially their smile what would you say in the letter without sounding like just another crazy huge fan?

No matter what you say you'll always sound like just another fan.

Depending on who it is, they probably get 1,000's of fan letters a week.

I would start by finding your favourite photo of them and sending a polite, how are you type of letter with the photo and a posted return envelope.Don't forget to say, Do Not Bend. None of them want a gushing 'I love you so much' type of thing. Address them correctly, are they a Sir or Dame?
I wrote once to Sir Alec Guinness, called him Sir Alec, didn't mention Star Wars and just asked for an autograph. I got a fabulous reply, better than a signed photo and it is one of my treasured possessions.
