In the first seven weeks of The Apprentice Lord Sugar has fired the Eastern European woman, the black man and the Asian man. As a Jewish man he ought to know better.
If the roles were reversed and all the easily identifiable 'white British' men and women were fired, leaving only non-whites and white Eastern Europeans, would that be a more apposite position in your opinion? Or should we have an equal mix of British whites, Eastern Europeans and non-whites all the way to the end until, inevitably, a single winner is selected?
When the series first started in 2005, the winner was Timothy Campbell – a black British chap. Maybe Alan Sugar has become a racist in the last seven years since all of the other winners have been 'white British'. Yes, that makes a lot of sense... :-/
