Completely agree Mary T. There were only two lots of singers that actually didn't shout - most of it was screeching, shouting females, which seems to be the vogue these days. The girl at the end who sang with the two screeching girls who thought they were being hard done by was refreshingly good. Would have enjoyed her singing without the background screeches.

I sort of agree with you Mary. I can't be going with all that shouting and vocal gymnastics nonsense. It's just to cover up that they can't sing.
Still, the programme is better than BGT and the X Factor.
All Simon Cowell stuff is past it's best. Time to put them away and come up with better Saturday night TV.
Yes it did turn into a shoutfest.

Wish the judges would sit still, bloody annoying

Tom Jones is the only judge to sit still looks like his gyrating days are over at least he sits and listens, they all deliberate and cry about making decisions but the pit their best singers against each other, doesn't make sense good singers losing out.

Just love Tom Jones!! He has got better with age too.
I liked the folk couple. They sang beautifully. It has been ages since we had a harmonising couple...
Yes they were good and the lady singing with them was good too. Agree too with Mary that putting the best singers together was silly - some really good people haven't made it through for this reason.

Two screeching women trying to outdo each other was an assault on the ears!!!!
Ooooh, I got a Best Answer ;o) Thanks!!
