After a rubbish secopnd series of Downton Abbey, Julian Fellowes has achieved the impossible: he's made Titanic boring! I thought the re-make of Upstairs Downstairs (not by him, of course) disappointing, but this is truly awful...so far.

how are they going to fill out another 3 hours!
Another three hours...?
I hope the string quartet keep going - that was the best bit.....
It sunk below the waves IMO and it cost £11,000,000 to make, only three more to go, yawn, yawn!!!!!
I haven't watched it, having watched the documentary the other night. Enough, to be honest.........
Didn't get past halfway of the first installment because it was soooo boring. I won't be watching the rest. What with that and the equally boring upstairs downstairs on BBC at the same time, Sunday night terrestrial TV is enough to make you want an early night.
All that dancing at the beginning...what was that all about? The lady's maid's book being grabbed and torn....what was that all about?

Very disappointing.
I didn't like the film - too much hype and wasn't in the least bit interested in the tv series (although I am a huge Downton fan). I prefer things with a happy ending - nothing like that for the Titanic.
Didnt even attempt to watch it. I just knew it would be rubbish. In fact the whole of last nights TV was rubbish IMO
I enjoyed it, and also A Night to Remember!

"I found the film boring, couldn't wait for it to sink! "

lol excellent
One of the musicians came from my hometown of Eastbourne, and there is a plaque to his memory at the band stand, sweet!
I think it is the drama from as experienced by the different class survivors, ie 1st, steerage etc.
The reason there is so much 'Titanic' at the moment is because it's a hundred years next month since it sank.
It looks like it's going to be one of those going back and forth as I call them.
So the following weeks will be showing what happened before they boarded the ship.
I prefer a beginning a middle and an end and not all this toing and froing.
