Did anyone watch this new programme by Ruth Jones last night? I tried really hard to get into it but the strong Welsh accents proved too much for my elderly ears!

I'm glad I wasn't the only one. Ruth Jones was fine as Nessa in Gavin and Stacey but with everyone speaking in thick Welsh accents in this, I just couldn't seem to tune in to it and didn't see why I should have to work so hard to follow them. My husband suggested putting the subtitles on but I said if I want to read, I'll read my book which I then did.
