Has Bruce Fosyth Just Killed Off His Own Career, Finally?

Harry Judd wins Strictly, his McFly bandmates rush from the audience on to the dancefloor to congratulate him, Bruce clearly mistakes them for hooligans and runs around shouting "Get Off!" and smacking them with his cue cards. One of the most cringey things I've ever seen on live tv. A minute later he was heard saying they were Harry's bandmates, but I'm sure that was only after someone had a word in his ear. What did you think of that incident?

it was... embarrassing :o/
His timing last week sucked as well.......
I thought Bruce handled it very well, tongue in cheek.
McFly was not supposed to be on the dance floor and they had to be moved.
Bruce done good.
Highly inappropriate of them to hijack his moment. But, I seriously think Brucie needs pensioning off....Anton would be excellent!!!
Any link to the incident?
And Bruce told Harry's dad to clear off....not very professional. Think Bruce may have shot himself in the foot.
..and it is Forsyth not Fosyth ...
Bloody hilarious, he's 84 and you think his career might be over. I think he's quite grateful that he wakes up every morning.
Could never stand "Brucie" even back in the 60s. Always thought he was very insincere. One reason I've never watched Strictly.
A difficulty of live TV I guess!
He also made a joke? about northern girl Chelsee saying that she went into a casino and for £10 worth of chips with extra gravy.
If we are going to be pedantic about this, Anngel, - it's Bruce, not "Brucie". He also likes to be called "Sir Bruce" now.
Has anyone got a link to the incident being discussed?
Sir Ass**le more apt
I'm sure he knew they were Harry's bandmates, he's 83, not senile !! I love him, so leave him alone....
Of course he knew who they were.
DT, he is referred to as Brucie, by Tess, on the programme. Forsyth is actually his name...not being pedantic. I wouldn't call spelling the poor old guy's surname incorrectly a MINOR detail....
Most people are just tolerating him now. It's time he called it a day.
I didn't see it, but I like 'Brucie'.
People make plenty of errors on here, anngel, cut some slack as keys stick and all the rest.....I regularly make typo mistakeson here, as do many others.

I am sure chirpy knows that the surname is Forsyth.

Really......getting into as steam about this, it's not worth it.
