What are your thoughts on this prog? I can feel for every one except the guy from Swansea (Sarah I think) what an awful place to find yourself in.

Ups, the situation, not Swansea.
I watched it once in passing. I felt sorry for the guy who hadn't really started the change yet. Poor thing had almost been a recluse and has no self confidence or anything. :-(

Yes, that's Sarah.
I love it. I`ve found it fascinating. I think the girls that become men are more convincing than the men that become girls (apart from Donna anyway). What struck me as interesting is that they said how their personalities changed when they took hormones.
I find it fascinating and want to cuddle them all. How awful to feel so different. They all look fine to me, except that one that had her p***s removed and a ladypart made, she still looks a bit beefy, but is very nice. I do admire them.
I've missed this programme. From what I've seen of the trailers I think they are very brave for being on tv. I echo Neti's comments.
I have been hooked, I think they are all very brave and it's really helping me to increase my understanding of people who are different to me. I also felt the same after I watched the seven dwarves programme.
Such an interesting programme, loved it. its not nice being caught in the middle of not really knowing if you male or female. I really do feel for them having great courage to come to terms with it all!

ive watched little bits occassionally, but i do wonder what would be their motivation to agree to be " filmed " ?

I just can't imagine their pain.
Amy - got to disagree with you there - I know many females who do not look "traditionally" female - I, for one, have big boobs (40dd) but am not a "traditional"-looking female - I wear "men's" tops and trousers (I prefer the way they fit my figure) , also, I remember a documentary showing a female to male that showed a fully functioning penis (it may have been a german documentary, was a few years ago)
anne - maybe to show us, the "un-informed", that they are just normal people, like we are, that were unfortunate enough to be born in to the wrong body...?
I don`t think a fully functioning penis has been invented yet. They can urinate through it but they can`t get erections. They have to have an artificical, manual pump device fitted.
237sj - what man doesn't need a bit of pumping?!
Not sure about that. Most of them don`t seem to need much help :-)
If they need help in getting an erection, forgive this, but do they have any sensations, if you know what I mean. Obviously to the partner, it will feel normal.
oooh neti, that is a VERY good question.

The urination is obviously the bladder telling the brain they need to 'go' but on the other matter, that is intriguing.I hope I'm not being offensive to anyone.
Me too alba but makes you wonder, otherwise why bother?
