Why do I get the impression Alesha is being fed comments to make as a judge? What she says rarely seems to come naturally. Jennifer Grey is certainly reading some of her comments, though she may be making her own notes during performances...though she's supposed to be watching the full routines. I don't think Russell will go; I reckon he'll win the series

I reckon it's across the board flip, I read this week that Gary Barlow is getting his comments written for him to make him look cool and funny, people say he'd never have thought of the comment about the tin foil with johnny few weeks ago and he's unable give good reply to johnny's retort

I notice Alesha has her hair down all this series. My theory is tthat's to conceal an earpiece through which she's fed her comments

Lulu to go next week. Brendan is nobody's favourite pro and Lulu is frankly hopeless for somebody that's been in the music business for nigh on 50 years.
I don't think Alesha is being fed her comments - she is much better this series and has had elocution lessons.

I've been wondering if Lulu started the series badly on purpose, knowing that a 'journey' of improvement wins votes. In recent years she's lost a lot of popularity, and many viewers would consider her career an unfair advaantage for Strictly...though the same could be said of Tottie Valance and Harry Judd (even though he's a drummer)

I agree, I have never thought Alesha has ever had the talent to be a technical dancing judge, she is just “eye candy”.

If anyone has an unfair advantage surely it is Jason? He has been performing (singing AND dancing) in front of huge live audiences and cameras for years.
This year's contestants that aren't from a music background are in a minority. I think Audley started with the least background advantage and is handicapped by his size, followed by Russell. Both are doing far better than I expected.
How can Audley keep a proper posture when his partner is so much smaller? He can't extend his arms when in hold - his arms are far too long.
All in all, I think this is a great series. Thank heavens Nancy has gone, although I don't think Anton done her any favours at all. He is either a rotten teacher or has a very mean streak.

My views exactly - like that girl last year - they start with a distinct advantage over the others. Shouldn't be allowed.
