I read on here that there is something called Countdown to Downton being shown on Sky at the moment, which I don't have. It ended with the countess losing her unborn baby, Lady Mary rejecting Matthew Crawley, the heir to the estate, as a husband and sly Thomas the footman sneaking off to join the army in the medical corps so he didn't have to fight. Oh, and the great Dame Maggie with a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp.
