I also only complain about the ridiculous storylines, and I totally agree MissCommando, Michelle Collins is an appalling actress. I too find it difficult to watch when she's on (sorry Lottie, I know you are a fan, we will agree to differ!)
Actually Ric.ror I remember Brian Sewell being interviewed and him saying he was a Corrie fan, amazingly.

Working amongst several dozen supposedly 'scruffy grimy northerners' I think he's bang out of order. I don't know anyone like that. Well, one woman came in for her lottery yesterday and she reeked, but she's been like that for years and is notorious for her collection of flies,

I did read the article, and my interpretation was that was how Northerners in the past have been depicted, say in gritty films, with actors like Albert Finney, Tom Courteney, and he does watch corrie, how else would he know all the characters and storylines from way back, as to effete? so that would preclude him from watching.

I still love Corrie even though some of the storylines are daft (any dafter than Eastenders though??). I love little Simon and think Jane Danson (Leanne) is a brilliant actress. Feeling really sorry for Becky just now and of course poor Fiz! Worst actor - Anthony cotton (Sean). Still luv him though!

Yes, she was good, and is basically a good actress. Though I wouldn't call myself a fan actually Yoga. I have never really watched East Enders so can't say what she was like in that. I know she was Cindy Beale and saw it a few times, but that was so many years ago. She has been in a fair few things since then and I have liked her.

I think Michelle Collins is good in Corrie, no matter what anybody says. I can't wait for her and Leanne to be friends which I'm sure they will!
