Egypt's Lost Cities

Thought this would be interesting as Mr Q and I like the presenters but 15 minutes in and we were both fast asleep! Anyone enjoy it?

Yes, it was most interesting, but needed a good editor since its content could easily have been covered in well less than an hour.
I've got it recorded... maybe I should fast forward through it, then?
i enjoyed it
I thought it was fascinating......I could have happily sat through another hours worth...
Excellent if you are interested in Egypt, the towns shown up by Sat Nav + the Cities that have been buried by the sand is unreal.
I thought there was too much loud music and animation. As Segilla said it could have been covered in less time. Also, they seemed to leap from site to site and I rather lost track sometimes. Very interesting, though, and hopefully it will lead to more discoveries.
I thought that it was very interesting, but agree that it jumped around a bit, but I'd hoped to see more remains actually uncovered, rather than the computer simulations, but I suppose they only had one and a half hours to do everything. good programme though.

looting's been going on for millennia, after all; there aren't enough police in Egypt (or the world, probably) to cover all the sites. When Tutankhamun was first discovered he had a penis; now he doesn't. It went missing during World War II, apparently.
