The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

Anyone else looking forward to this? I am and so disappointed that Racel Weisz isn't in it.

Hi there osprey,
Yes,I too would have liked to have seen her in the new film too.
There were two things against it it seems.
She lives with film director Darren Aronofsky in New York, and they have 2 year old son (Henry Chance),As Rachel could not take him with her to China, and not wanting to be away from him for quite along time, she declined the new Mummy film.
Also, she(it seems) didn't like just where the film was going,so for"artistic reasons" she didn't sign up for this one.
Of course, for unkown reasons,we don't have Freddie Boath(Alex) either,he is now 17,and has been replaced by Luke Ford, who is 27! (Boy Alex grew up quickl!).
It is rumoured that Luke will eventually replace Brendan Fraser in any more Mummy films. This is because Brenda's contract for the Mummy films is up,and he has made it clear he will not be doing any more.
I am seeing it next Wednesday so I hope it;s up to the usual standard.
I will miss Arnold Vosloo myself.

Indeed there was SupaStar,
As follows:~
1.
The Mummy (1999)

2.
The Mummy Returns (2001)
aka "The Mummy 2" - USA (working title)

3.
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008

I am not convinced that they intended(originally) there to be three, but who knows?
