leopard chases cat (or dog , can't remember)

Can anyone tell me if they know of an old 50s nature/adventure film about a couple of dogs and a cat treking across america to find their home? It was narrated and included some amazing scenes including the cat being chased by a leopard or panther. It facinated me as a child and i'd love to see it again.
