There is a bit in "The Beach" where he is in a hostel room and hands Leonardo Diacprio a spliff through a hatch window thingy that divides their rooms......Maybe this??

It sounds like a series i remember watchin a few years back but i cant remember what it was called, he lived on council estate, sorry i aint much help

Nah - Twinkle is right - it's in The Beach. The hatchway is a cutting in the mosquito netting above the rooms as it was just a hostel, they were't proper rooms. It's in Bangkok, I've stayed there, its minging!

The series Chelsea is referring to is when he appeared in Cracker (with Robbie Coltrane) - he was a smackhead in that.

Thank you all I think it might be Looking after Jo Jo as it is only available on VHS Tape and the person who wanted me to find out said it was based in this country. I am going to have to see if I can get it copied onto DVD
