Looper

Rowan and myself both enjoyed the Film which we saw at the Cinema today.
Futuristic, with a clever but complicated plot (I'm still trying to figure some of it out)
Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) and Bruce Willis as his older self (don't ask as it is complicated)
Probably could have done with a more subtle Actor for the part that Bruce 'shoot 'em up' Willis plays, but that's just my opinion.
Worth a look if you want to be entertained for a couple of hours ! :-))

I went to see it this very afternoon and thought it ok but slightly disappointing. Shall probably appreciate it more when it comes out on disc. But I thought Brucie was alright, he has done this sort of time travelling film before with Twelve Monkeys (a better film imho).

It probably needs another look on DVD to understand the complications of the Plot fully, bibblebub ! My brain needs a bit of a jolt at times...:-))
That telekinesis part of the story put me off; the surfeit of films in the last few years about superheroes and people acquiring superhuman abilities have left me a bit bored with that sort of thing.
Afternoon Redman - are you turning into the Barry Norman of Answerbank...hahahaha reviewing the films for us.

Hope you are both well and enjoying each other's company. {:o) xx

Looper looks good, I look forward to seeing it, Inception was great both good actors IMO (Third rock and that fella caught Moonlighting).

Worth a look Arksided, but the best Film doing the rounds at the Cinema at present is 'Lawless' ! Brilliant Film...
Lawless yes... another I'd like to see... without looking it up Tarantino I believe.
That's now above on the to-see list.
I was left unimpressed by Lawless, the following quote summing it up for me: three hillbilly brothers in an empty exercise of macho-sentimental violence. Seeing Looper tmrw night.
I can't wait for Lawless to come out on DVD, so I can watch it again! A fantastic film.
Watched Looper last night. Enjoyed it although for some reason I thought it was going to be a darker, more moody/stylised movie than it was, like Bladerunner for example.
