He always seems a fairly anonymous actor so that I don't associate him with any particular role (even though I very much Sherlock); perhaps 3 movies worth of him might eventually turn out to be more than enough.

I was never a fan of The Office and I enjoy Sherlock but I understand where you're coming from, snags.

And if it looks very like LOTR then I won't be complaining.

As I understand it the book is much shorter than LOTR but has been dragged out into a trilogy. Doesn't bode well.
