Not been yet, I'm thinking about going tomorrow. You're the first person I've come across who's seen it, what did you think of it lilacben?

Well to be honest we are fans of the Alien films. We was really dissapointed as we had no moments when we was scared or jump. There are things in it that you knew what was about to happen. I won't go into detail as don't want to put anyone off. I would say considering the writer/director that it had it has let them down. But that is just one review please go and see it and let us know what you thought of it. Brenda xx
No , I being waiting to go see it for a long time... but have made plans to see it next week.
Dissapointing. Few holes. In a couple of words, it was ok.
Saw it tonight: great special effects. Perhaps a bit too long. I found myself not caring about any of the characters. Cast nondescript bar Michael Fassbender.
Everyone I have spoken to has said it wasn't very good. I think i'm going to wait for the bluray :)
And why was Guy Pearce chosen to play Peter Wayland: he didn't bring anything unique to the character and his old man make up was truly crap.
Rowanwitch and myself will go and see it in the next couple of weeks !
It certainly wont be a poor Film, it's not an Alien prequel as some might think
is it scary (alien scared me so much i've never been able to watch it again)
a complete let down did not live up to the hype!!

I saw Prometheus last weekend and thought it was really good. I think a lot of the reason it has received some indifferent reviews in the press and on the web is that a lot of people just wanted another version of Alien - scary monster picks off crew one by one, all very suspensful with a few scares thrown in for good measure and that is not what Prometheus is about. Try and keep an open mind folks.
I agree with Scarlett.

I've enjoyed, but never been bowled over by any of the "Alien" films and so wasn't caught up in the hype. Thoroughly enjoyed it for what it was, rather than what I wanted it to be.
