Time travel movie

Was discussing these type of films yesterday and I described my favourite of the genre - only thing was I can't recall the title !
some clues :-
Its a sub-titled fairly recent movie (possibly originally Spanish)
A bit of a crime thriller
One main character has his head covered in bandages
Action is centered around a large remote modern house in the countryside
Any help welcomed - its driving me mad !
