I watched 10 mins of Captain Corelli's Mandolin, yipes what a load of tosh, did love the book.
Lord of the Rings....so good and yet so far from what it could have been. AND WHY WAS THE ELFSTONE A DIAMOND For Funks Sake? In the book it was described as GREEN
The Kite Runner, fabulous book, but film nowhere near as good.

The French Lieutenant's Woman was awful too.
Of recent times, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, loved the first three but four was a load of broccoli!
The Lovely Bones...... Worst. Film. EVER!!
horsehoes, i read John Fowles book, even that was obscure, but after seeing the film decided my life was worth so much more to go through that again.
erin the Lovely Bones was a very disjointed film and hard to follow imo.

Another really shocking film... About Schmidt.
When Mr. C and I were courting wanted to get out of the rain so decided to
go to the pictures where the only thing on was Annie Hall. We've both never
been so bored in all our lives and vowed never to see another Woody Allen
film again. We've kept that promise to this day.
Hannah and Her Sisters was a much better film than Annie Hall.
