Ray. I fell asleep.
I haven't been to the pictures ( as we called it then ) since 1977 when I took my son to see Star Wars in Golders Green. He I must add fell asleep. I waited a long time time for ET to show on TV. About 6 years I think and thought it was a load of cr*p.
Mission impossible 2 and matrix 2 & 3
Dazed and Confused. I'd already got all the free DVDs in the Stella Artois offer that I wanted, and was still eligible for one more. So based on the advertised soundtrack I chose this pile of horse manure. Now if it was sold as a CD with just all the records, it would be fantastic. But it wasn't. So it isn't.

Not even worthy of e-bay. This one is off to oxfam.
Russell's Caligula too.......
I went for all the hype of 'Silence Of The Lambs' as regards a horror story but was totally underwhelmed as to what happened. Menacing? possibly - scary? no way
Gone with the Wind

Casablanca

fell asleep during both when they were on TV more recently Avatar
Sliding Doors,total crap.
the bridges of madison county.................. great book , bad casting for the film. should have been unknown actors imo.
I know it's been mentioned before but: The Lord of the Rings.
Fantastic vistas and superb fight scenes but characters missed out, plot lines altered, the whole Ent sub plot was cr@p, Sam Gangees's gift from Lothlórien was missed out completely because they NEVER FINISHED THE STORY.

Rant over

I'm off for a lie down now :0)
Don't think you can ever get a film that is better than the book. You paint pictures in your head and you can see the thoughts of the characters. That can't happen in film. If I have never read a book and the film comes out I try and wait to see the film before I read the book.

The last film to dissapoint me was Inception, It wowed critics but I just thought it tried to appear clever beacuse there was no actual plot.
Titanic
Yep, got to be Titanic
Eragon is the movie that disappointed me!!The book was really good!!! I liked the book!!!
Shawshank Redemption - I watched it again only a couple of days ago and I still don't know what other people see in it that they rate it so highly, it's just such an ordinary film imho.
'' Soul Boy '' not a true reflection of Wigan Casino at all, except for the music.
Sleeping with the Enemy. thought the book was great, but the film was rubbish. Totally unbelievable!
