Just watched it and really enjoyed it....despite the fact (or maybe because) I'm not Thatcher's biggest fan. I thought Anthony Head as Geoffrey Howe was brilliant.

I can't stand Thatcher, but wouldn't mind seeing this film as Meryl Streep is one fine actress and puts her all into every role she portrays. Will wait for it to come out on DVD though.

Yes the good lady is due to leave hospital today after the poor soul had been suffering from flu. I`m sure you will all want to wish her a speedy recovery....

Cleaning the iron

My poor, mortified, cleaning lady has managed to destroy a silk cami, and half of it is now welded to the bottom of the iron. Any ideas as to how I get it off please?...

I find it very sad that the Iron Lady looked so frail. Age is very unkind.
