Woman in Black

Has anyone seen this yet, if so what did you think? I watched it last night and have to say I really enjoyed it despite the lack of depth in the story. I like Daniel Radcliffe and in my opinion he held back slightly in this role but he can be forgiven considering it's his first big screen performance since the Harry days.

The film itself was eerie, melancholic and atmospheric which in my books is the perfect combination for a successful ghost story. I was genuinely terrified by parts of the film and loved that it had many accompanying jumpy moments.

Having read the book I am too scared to go to see the film.
I do not think I have ever read a scarier book.
(But then I'm not really into scary.)
I seen the older version of this film, I think it's the best ghost story ever, I'm looking forward to seeing this one, I've never seen the Harry Potter movies so can't comment on his acting

Well then Headwreck you are in a good position as you wont have any expectations of him.
Like headwreck I've seen the older version on TV a couple of times and it was the scariest thing I've ever seen and brilliantly done. I keep hoping they'll show it again now the new film's in the news. Not sure I want to see this film as don't see how it can better the original.
