Bob Hope - Paleface?

There was a scene where Bob Hope had to confront a gunslinger, possibly in the movie 'Paleface' or the 'Son of Paleface'. As he is walking along the street he is given confusing advice by well wishers, such as 'If the wind is from the East he will lean to the West' and something about standing on his tip toes. Any idea of the movie or the full quote?

It was Paleface

He draws to the left so lean to the right. There's a wind from the east - better aim to the west. He crouches when he shoots so stand on your toes". (Bob Hope)."
