Started reading the book, couldn't get into it, gave the film a miss.

joggerjayne, I found the book hard going, but the film was better. Brilliantly acted and the ending -- WOW !!!!

i am sure you wouldn't, i remember being told the ending to the Sixth Sense with Bruce Willis, and was decidedly miffed.

em10 - I know there's nothing worse. Watching the Sixth Sense I suddenly realised how it was going to end - what a shock. Would have been mortified if somebody had told me that !

i liked the film though, and kind of guessed, but don't like it when film reviewers do that, nor tv reviewers give the plots to the soaps so far ahead.

I thought it was very tame. But then it was only a certificate 15. Needed to be far more graphic.

I tried to read the book - found the style very mannered, so gave up. Will see the film if it's on TV, not not waiting like i am for the next series of Dexter!

She is superb in this film Matt. I found myself hating her and feeling sorry for her alternatively !
