127 hours

Just watched it tonight on C4. Good film. Didn't think the sound of the bones breaking, or the claret spilling from the first incision were gruesome in the slightest. What really gave me the willies though was the close-up of the removal of his contact lenses. I know thousands of you do that every day but I couldn't watch! Give me spectacles any day!

Didn't rate it as highly as Trainspotting or Shallow Grave.

I only just noticed it on +1 at 11 so missed the first hour. I think it has been brilliant though. I'll need to get the dvd and watch it from the beginning. It kind of reminded me slightly of Into the Wild.
I wear contact lenses so that wasn't too worrying lol.

It was a good film, I enjoyed it. After it finished I watched some of Aron Ralston's actually video footage on YouTube and that is quite moving.
It does make you wonder how you would cope in a similar situation.
It's on the four platform - that means it will be repeated somewhere on there pretty soonish.
Amazing film spikey I found it gripping and realistic and the sound that made me wince was the little 'ping' when he pulled the tendon...eek!
I think if I didn't know it was a true story I wouldn't have liked it but knowing it was true made it sort of incredible.
