The harry potter collection of 8 films for £25.50 from amazon or hmv seems like a bargain, if you like that type of film?

35 films 35 years.......Clint Eastwood box set....i picked it up for £35 at Morrisons

I noticed in Tesco the other that they were doing a boxed sets of Clint Eastward that covered all his major films from the Spaghetti Westerns and Dirty Harry right up to the latest films he's directed, depending on which set you got. I'm sure you'll find something for everybody in a set of those.

We worked our way through some of the best films made by the Coen brothers eg Fargo, Raising Arizona, Oh Brother where Art Thou? etc

All a bit quirky, some a bit edgy but all great movies.

the Lord of the Rings box set should keep you going a day or two, especially the stuff that didn't make it on to the big screen.

I'm trying to think of films to get as well since I still have money to spend on amazon. I did buy Into the Wild a few weeks ago and it's such an excellent film, I highly recommend it. I've been watching a lot of biographical films lately. Chaplin, Nowhere Boy, Public Enemies and Ed Wood to name a few. :-)
