just watched"the sound of music" julie andrews brought back memories of my nan taking me to the cinema to see it when it 1st came out still a classic, what was the 1st film you went to see at the cinema?

My mum was a big Cliff Richard fan - she took me to see The Young Ones -
scarred for life.........................

Don't know if it was the first film, but I remember my mother dragging me to see Mario Lanza in The Great Caruso.

First film I saw with my mother was either Bambi or Dr Doolittle - I remember being upset when Bambi's mother died, I must have been about 7 -8years old.
