War Horse

I was sitting in the dentist's waiting room yesterday and they have a TV there that shows what filmsre up and coming, and I se that they are going to be releasing the film "WAr Horse" around Christmas 2011 - does anyone know if it is a real film with real horses etc, or is it a film of the play? Everything I've heard about the play is brilliant, my sister, who is not inclined to crying, said that she went through a box of tissues watching that!

I believe Speilberg is involved with this film. I thought it wasn't out till next year but I could be wrong. Gonna be a real tear-jerker. I read the book in an afternoon and that left me teary eyed!
