Site Lines

What are the site lines required for a new driveway on a 60 mile per hour limit road? For example, are you required to be able to see 50 metres in each direction? Or is it shorter/longer than this?

I've tried trawling the internet without any success so far..

You would have more success trawling t'internet using the term "sight lines".

my limited experience says it will be more than 50 metres
